1. Between 1200-1650 every law school in Europe used the same teaching
texts (libri legales)
2. Every student who completed law school received a Iuris utriusque doctor degree.
3. Every student had to master Roman law, canon law, and by ca. 1400 feudal law and certain secular legal systems.
4. The Ius commune was legal system founded on the curriculum of the law schools not on a territorial state's legal system.
5. The books of the Priesterseminar are a library of the Ius commune, not only  ecclesiastical law.
