Irnerius' Influence on Roman and Canon Law Texts


Gratian placed 30 authenticae in the last recension of his Decretum ca. 1140


 Vacarius ca. 1150, Johannes Faventinus ca. 1170 (died ca. 1190), Summa Lipsiensis ca. 1186), , Roffredus (1170-ca. 1243), Huguccio (died 1210), Hugolinus (died a.1233),  Azo (died ca. 1230),  Accursius (died 1263, Odofredus (died 1265) attributed the authenticae to Irnerius


Later jurists followed Irnerius by creating authenticae, i.e.  Bulgarus, Albertus, Jacobus, Pilius, Henricus de Bailia, Johannes Bassianus
