I do not want to fail to let you know how much satisfaction your letters give everyone.    Believe me, Niccolo, since you know that praise is not my talent, when I found myself reading your earlier letters to certain citizens, some of them the most important in Florence, that you were highly praised by them.  Our Marcello gave me your letter and with him was Totto, to whom he had given your other letters faithfully.
