Jews must not be forced to accept the faith, which, however, if they accept the faith unwillingly, they must be forced to remain Christian. (Iudei non sunt cogendi ad fidem, quam tamen si inviti susceperunt cogendi sunt retinere.  Vnde in Tolletano concilio statutum est:  Sicut non sunt Iudei ad fidem cogendi, ita nec conversis ab ea recedere permittitur.
