This course will be a shorter two credit version of a three credit course at Catholic University.  Consequently the internet pages for Law 508 will be used for the course but not all of them.  I will indicate which materials and which web pages we will use during each class.  To get to our class internet site, you can go to my home page at http://faculty.cua.edu/pennington/ and then scroll down to Law 508: http://faculty.cua.edu/pennington/Law508/Law508.html

There will be a final essay for the class.  The topic for the essay will be given to you on Thursday, June 8th at the end of the class.  You will be given 48 hours to write the essay.  You will submit your essay to me by email.  The essays should be formatted in no smaller than 12pt typeface, double-spaced, with margins of 1" right and left. The pages should be numbered. They will be graded for content, syntax, and grammar.  The essays should be proofread carefully.    I would like to receive your essay as a Word or WordPerfect document (Windows; I cannot do Mac) as an email attachment.  I expect the final essay to be between 8-10 pages.
