It is said that this is on account of the unity of

 the faith of men and women, which touches

 all . . . a woman should not be excluded from

 a general council [Dicitur quod hoc est

 propter unitatem fidei virorum et mulierum,

 quae omnes tangit .  .  . non est mulier a

 generali concilio excludenda]
